Drop–In Printmaking

Printmakers are welcome to join the Drop – In Painters on available Mondays between 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (see dates below).

Drop in pintmaking has been cancelled for September, October, and November, due to COVID-19.

The printing press is housed in our storage room. Please follow these guidelines:

  • For each drop-in session, choose two qualified “leaders”, who are designated to be in charge of the printing press and have experience in how to handle all equipment. The leaders are responsible for the printing press set-up and return of all equipment to the storage room.

  • In advance of each session, the leaders need to inform the contact person of the planned drop-in date and the names of the leaders:

  • Maximum of 5 printmakers for each Monday session

  • Printmakers share the room with regular drop-in painters. The space at the front of the room near the sink would be the area reserved for the printing press equipment.

The cost is $10, for whatever length of time you choose to stay.

  1. Print your name on the Sign-In Sheet on the front bulletin board

  2. Place your $10 in the envelope.

  3. The last person to leave should slide the money envelope under the door of the storage room.

Please note: The 1st Monday of each month is our Executive Committee meeting in A1 in the morning, so Drop-In on those Mondays is only available from 12:30 - 4:00 p.m. Fee is $5 for those half-days only.

September: 9th (12:30 - 4:30 pm- $5) , 16th, 23rd, 30th

October: 7th (12:30 - 4:30 pm- $5), 21st , 28th

November: no drop in this month - Printmakers’ Monday workshop requires full studio

January: 6th (12:30 - 4:30 pm- $5), 13th , 20th , 27th

February: 3rd (12:30 - 4:30 pm- $5), 10th, 24th

March: 2nd (12:30 - 4:30 pm- $5), 9th, 23rd, 30th

April: 6th (12:30 - 4:30 pm- $5), 13th , 20th , 27th

May: 4th (12:30-4:30 pm-$5), 11th Please note, drop-in is in studio A2(back) this month.

Weather Cancellations - During the winter months, please watch for Drop-In cancelations on the website. If a Wednesday workshop needs to be cancelled for inclement weather, it may be necessary to reschedule it on a Monday, resulting in cancellation of Drop-In. An e-blast will be sent to the membership to let them know of these cancellations, but check the website dates as well.
